Delaware North was appointed as the hospitality services provider at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in late-2021. In January 2022, Greater Group was commissioned by Delaware North to design its corporate suite at the MCG. Working with a 42sqm space, emphasis was given to the premium, non-interrupted views of the pitch.

Injecting Delaware North’s DNA into the corporate suite, Greater Group introduced Delaware North’s prominent brand colours in mirror and textured paint finishes accentuated with LED strip lighting. In addition to reflecting the views and representing Delaware North’s brand colours, the mirror lights up the space, thus providing a roomier feel.
By mirroring and flipping angles in mirrored finishes, Greater Group played with the angles of the MCG’s architecture, providing a frame for a bespoke graphic collage showcasing Delaware North’s history and global presence.
A timber feature finish was added to the bar front and catering wall, deliberately intended to add warmth to the space – this was further emphasised by the angled timber flooring. Finally, black leather stadium seats with fold-away trays were installed, to allow guests to sit and dine in comfort while watching the game. The space can be used as a canape-style bar with leather bar stools. Alternatively, it can be a bespoke timbre 10-person sit-down table for a more formal dinner arrangement.
