A new bar located in a previously underutilised space in the MCG’s Olympic Stand.
Working with the existing curved Sherrin Football installation T5 in conjunction with Southpour designed a new bar with a cool room that mimics the curve and provides a focal point under the red sculpture.
OLYMPIC ATRIUM BAR
To add warmth to the space and work with the red of the Sherrin sculpture T5 mixed in timber framing/cladding with silver, red and warm gray weaved Bolon flooring, this is contrasted with the concrete render to the bar front and highlights of stainless steel and mesh throughout the space.
The finished result is an inviting space with views out to the park, a great place to enjoy pre / post and during a game.
