Greater Group was commissioned by Emirates Leisure Retail to design a high- end sports bar for a tender by Auckland International airport. Vantage Bar is the largest of the Auckland airport tenancies and the most complex. With 450 sqM over two levels, a new mezzanine, curved staircase, 2 bars and a 6 meter high feature LED screen there is a lot to love about this project!

SPORTS BAR – AUCKLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The design intent was to create a modern version of a traditional sports bar, whilst adapting the design and materials to create an interior that was inviting for all demographics.
The internal colour palette took inspiration from New Zealand’s natural environment, teal for the water in the sounds, mustard referring back to gorse from the mountain region, mixed in with warm walnut and brass highlights to create a juxtaposition between traditional and modern pub interior.
